CCSA Spring Seminar Review

The Spring program this year was hosted by the Sterile Processing Department at The Hospital of St. Raphaels. We thank them for their hard work in making it happen. It was an impressive day of interaction with the speakers and all of our associates in Sterile Processing who attended. The speakers for this program included Rose Seavey, President/CEO of Seavey Healthcare Consulting, Inc. and Damien Berg, Supervisor of Sterile Processing. With speakers of their caliber it becomes obvious to me that that a career in Sterile Processing is a profession on par with any other. We would like to thank them for sharing their knowledge with us. The middle of the day saw a question and answer session facilitated by Troy Cambone, Sterile Processing Supervisor, and Ed Casey, Sterile Processing Supervisor. We would like to thank all of you who attended, shared, and reached out to your peers. We not only took away new ideas, we took away a new energy and appreciation for what we all do to protect the patient.
